Purpose of IGASA:

To ensure networks only deliver advertisers brands on sites that have met the standards of IGASA ensuring advertisers brands are protected.

What is a network?

A network connects web sites that want to host advertisements with advertisers who want to run advertisements.
Networks are entitled to run advertising on the submitted URLs.

Benefits of a Network being awarded the IGASA seal of approval

  • Increase your sites marketability to advertisers.
    • - If you are IGASA approved, you will be included in the IGASA Membership Directory and advertisers know you are a trusted network and that all your sites have met the IGASA standard.
    - The IGASA Membership Directory is recommended to all outside enquiries from advertisers, agencies and marketers as the place to find the leading trusted gambling websites and networks online. Therefore by becoming IGASA approved, you will increase your network’s exposure to advertisers, meaning more potential advertisers to advertise on your site.
    - As large numbers of agencies, advertisers and marketers only buy from IGASA approved sites and networks, you increase the number of potential advertisers your network have access to.

  • Increase the value of your inventory.
    • - As your network has been approved, met the IGASA code and the standards required by advertisers, advertisers know when working with you and your sites, their brand will be protected.
    - The protection offered to advertisers by the IGASA standard, means that by becoming approved, you not only increase your marketability to advertisers but you also increase the value of your gambling inventory across your sites.

    What do I need to do in order to become approved:

  • All sites within the network must be gambling related and meet the IGASA Code of Conduct requirements. Read more here.
  • Apply to become IGASA approved on igasa.org, click the application button on the top right hand corner “Apply to IGASA”.
  • Networks must submit all the sites they would like to be approved and be awarded the Seal of Approval.
  • IGASA membership is free to successful applicants.
  • Your application will be reviewed by the Authority and a member of the board will get back to you regarding whether your network has met the IGASA standard and been awarded the IGASA seal or whether your application has been unsuccessful.
  • If you are successful, you will be awarded the IGASA seal (to view the seal, see the bottom left hand corner of this page), to show that you are considered a trusted site by advertisers, that advertisers know when advertising with you that their brand is protected and that your network has met the required standards.
  • The IGASA seal must be placed on the home page of your site and all of the submitted sites so advertisers, marketers and advertisers know whether the site is a trusted site on inspection. It may be placed wherever you or the site owner choose (at the bottom of the page and below the fold is acceptable), but it must be placed on the home page of all of the submitted sites which have been approved.
  • The seal contains no outbound link to this site or any other, so it will not affect your SEO ranking. However you will receive an inbound link from the Membership Directory which can help build link equity and improve SEO ranking.
